Earth Rangers

Wednesday, April 26th, 2017

By way of background, Earth Rangers is a Canadian environmental education and conservation non-profit aimed specifically at youth. The goal of the organization is to educate children and their families about biodiversity, inspire them to adopt sustainable behaviours, and empower them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats.

The Youssef-Warren Foundation proudly contributed to Earth Rangers – Bring Back the Wild Earth Month Project – launching Earth Ranger’s second annual “Earth Month is for the Animals” in April of 2016. This project was to help protect Grizzly Bears, Black Bears and Spirit Bears in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest.

The decision to contribute was a result of a Board decision to contribute to a Canadian Conservation organization and that after a detailed search, Earth Rangers was selected.

We are once again, proud to contribute to Earth Month Project in April 2017, Protecting Marine Ecosystems on Canada’s West Coast in support of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society’s ongoing participation in this process.

The investment made by The Youssef-Warren Foundation is matched 100% by a contribution raised by Earth Rangers Members towards the conservation work.  As a result of our $25,000 contribution, it not only helped Earth Rangers to educate tens of thousands of children across Canada about the important conservation work underway in the Great Bear Rainforest, but leveraged $35,000 in new financial support for TNC Canada!
